Ir. Ma’amor Bin Mahat
Managing Director
Ma’amor graduated with a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Wales, United Kingdom in 1980. Immediately upon graduation he joined Malaysian Oxygen Berhad (now known as Linde Malaysia Sdn Bhd), and held various positions that include Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Operations Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Production Manager (Bulk Gases), Senior Engineering Manager, until year 2000 where he left MOX to pursue other interests.
In 2001 he joined PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB) to serve as the Project Manager for their Nitrogen Plant project in Gebeng, Kuantan. During this period, he also served as Operations Advisor to PGB’s large ASUs (air separation units) in Kerteh Terengganu. In 2006 he joined Secomex Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Lion Group) to serve as the Plant Manager for 2 large ASUs located within the steelmaking complex in Banting, Selangor until his official retirement in 2012.
Ma’amor obtained his Professional Engineer certification from the Board of Engineers Malaysia in 1999 in chemical engineering branch.
